Billing Option

Don't want to factor every load your customer gives you?
Now you don't have to. Our New billing option gives you the freedom to factor on a load-by-load basis. Choose which loads to factor and which to have us bill. If receivables for that customer have been assigned to us, the invoices to that customer must come from us, payment must also come to us, however we now give you the option to bill the load through us for a low flat rate. For a small fee we will bill for you and load the money on your card when payment comes in.

One important point to consider when choosing this option is that our special Non-Recourse Factoring protection from bad debt does not extend to loads you request we bill for you. In addition, if a customer does not pay for a load you will still be responsible for paying us the fee to bill it for you.

When we first came up with the idea of Spot Factoring we wanted to be able to provide the Trucker with the option to factor whenever they needed money quick and then let them bill everything else on their own. We were hoping to provide a service that would allow small trucking companies to remain independent and not have to lock themselves into the long term, restrictive contracts that other factoring companies were offering.

Our dream was difficult to make reality because the customers were becoming irritated with us. We were causing confusion in their Accounts Payable departments since they were constantly having to change the addresses they were sending checks to. To fix this we began to require the trucking company to factor every load with a customer once they factored one load with them and the customers they didn't want to factor they could bill on their own.

We are now taking a step back toward our original goal. We still have to invoice every load you move for the customers you factor with us and collect payment from them but you will now have the ability to choose whether you want to factor the load and get paid today or whether you prefer we bill the load for you at a low rate and load your Comdata card when payment comes in.

Our Fee for billing a load and collecting the receivables is a flat rate of $15.
